BEING A PHD STUDENT AT BMIC
PhD students at the DS BMIC
A PhD is a training in research through research. It constitutes a first major professional experience, internationally recognized both on an academic level and in the business world
This recognition at the highest level implies that the PhD student is not limited to carrying out research work. With guidance from the thesis director, the PhD student is a "project manager" with multiple facets: Objectives to be achieved, analysis and synthesis work, international state of the art, intellectual property, written and oral restitutions of his/her work, publications, communications, meeting deadlines, but also preparing his/her future post-thesis and building up a professional network.
